Preparing a Grant Application

How-to apply for grants, examples of grant proposals and funding resources

The Community Workstation

When preparing a grant application, or request for support, community-based organizations must consider many things.
What do they want to accomplish and how can they best communicate their proposed work?
Who might fund a proposal?

The Community WorkStation website helps support the work of preparing a successful grant proposal. It features an outline for a generic grant application with links to helpful resources and examples of completed proposals. The generic grant application can be adapted to fit a number of different government agencies, foundations and civic and corporate funders.
