WEB POLICIES / Privacy and Cookies

Your Privacy is very important to us.

CAPC respects your concerns about maintaining the privacy of personal information you may provide to us, and we have taken reasonable steps to ensure that any information you provide to us cannot be accessed by unauthorized persons. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise willfully disclose email addresses or other personally identifiable information shared on this site to any third party.

CAPC has an optional registration policy, which allows enhanced services that are impossible for us to offer to anonymous users. Examples of such enhanced services would be email notification of content that interests you, the ability to order publications directly from our web site and, eventually, bulletin board discussions on various topic areas. Access to public areas of our web site, however, does not require registration.

We do enable "cookies" on our web site. Cookies maintain a connection between your computer and the computer you are visiting. This means that when you login to the CAPC web site, a "cookie" is made just for you. The cookie simply identifies you as you navigate the site. In this case, when you exit from your browser, the cookie expires and is not used again. We use cookies to spare you the inconvenience of continually entering registration name and password, as you move in and out of areas that require login. We will not use cookies to:

  • acquire information about you
  • relay your name to third-party mailing lists
  • scrutinize your web usage for marketing purposes by third parties
  • penetrate your hard drive

If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].
